Bonus Psicologo
A contribution towards
psychotherapy
Since the scheme was introduced I have taken part in the Bonus Psicologo, the Italian state contribution that helps cover the cost of psychotherapy sessions.
How it works
The Bonus Psicologo is a contribution towards the cost of psychotherapy sessions, paid by INPS (the Italian social security institute) directly to the professional as payment for the sessions held. To qualify you must meet specific requirements (residence in Italy and ISEE income indicator) and apply through the INPS portal within specific time windows.
The person who is granted the bonus receives a unique code, linked to their tax code, to be communicated to the professional, who then records the sessions in a dedicated portal. The bonus cannot be used to pay for — or as reimbursement of — sessions held before it was granted.
Already been granted the Bonus? Simply contact me with your tax code (Codice Fiscale) and unique code (Codice Univoco) before booking and attending the session.
